Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

This policy explains what information imran360 (imran360.com) and its Notes app collect, why, and the choices you have. The site and the app are run by Imran Hossain. If anything here is unclear, write to imranhossain77664@gmail.com.

The short version

  • You sign in with Google. We keep your name, email address and profile photo to run your account.
  • Your notes, projects and money entries are stored on your own device, not on our server.
  • If you turn on backup, they are copied to your own Google Drive. The app can only see the one backup file it creates there.
  • The AI assistant uses your own Google Gemini key. Your messages go straight from your browser to Google, not through our server.
  • We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile photo and Google account ID. After your first sign-in we may ask you to complete a short profile, for example a username, mobile number or country. We use this only to create and run your account.

When you contact us, through the contact form or a support ticket, we keep what you write and any files you attach. We use these only to answer you.

Technical information. Like most websites, our server keeps short-lived logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use them to keep the site secure and working.

2. The Notes app: your data stays with you

The Notes app is built to work on your device. Your notes, projects, accounts, money entries, regular payments and settings are saved in your browser's storage on that device. They are not sent to or stored on our server.

Our server is contacted only to:

  • check, about once a day, that you are still signed in;
  • give your device the day's currency exchange rates. These are public rates that contain no personal information;
  • give your device a short-lived Google Drive access token, if you turned on backup (see section 3).

When you log out, you can choose "Remove my notes from this device" to delete everything the app stored on that device.

3. Google Drive backup (optional)

If you choose Backup & sync → Connect, we ask Google for permission to use your Google Drive with the drive.file scope. With this permission the app can see and change only the files it creates itself. It cannot see, read or change any other file in your Drive.

  • The app keeps one backup file in your Drive. It contains your notes, projects, money entries and the settings that should follow you to your other devices: main currency, timezone, AI key and AI choices.
  • Your device reads and writes this file directly with Google Drive. Its contents do not pass through our server.
  • So that backup can run in the background, our server stores the permission Google gives us (a "refresh token"). It is stored encrypted and used only to give your own device a short-lived access token.
  • You can stop at any time with Disconnect in the app. This removes the stored permission. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The backup file stays in your Drive until you delete it.

4. The AI assistant (optional)

The AI assistant runs on your own Google Gemini API key, which is kept on your device (and in your Drive backup, if you turned it on). When you write to the assistant, or attach a picture or a file, your browser sends it, together with the notes and money details needed to answer, directly to Google's Gemini API. It does not pass through our server. Google handles this under its own terms and privacy policy. The assistant only suggests notes and entries; nothing is saved until you confirm it. Pictures and files you attach are not stored by the app; only their names appear in the chat.

5. Google user data: Limited Use

imran360's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide sign-in and the backup feature you asked for. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and no person reads it unless you ask us to (for example, for support) or the law requires it.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one to keep you signed in, one to protect forms against forgery, and a small one that tells the Notes app which account is signed in on this browser. If the site's owner turns on analytics or a live-chat widget, those services may set their own cookies.

7. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only:

  • with Google, as described above, when you sign in, back up to Drive or use the AI assistant;
  • with the service providers that host and run the site, only as far as needed to run it;
  • when the law requires it.

8. Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account information while your account exists. To delete your account and the information we hold, write to imranhossain77664@gmail.com from your account's email address. Notes stored on your devices and in your Google Drive are under your control: remove them from a device when you log out, and delete the backup file in your Drive.

9. Security

Connections to the site use HTTPS. Stored Google permissions are encrypted. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. Children

imran360 is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will also let signed-in users know.
